I'm so glad my friend Lee Ann Westover was playing here last night, or I'd never have trekked out to Long Island City and had a beer or three at this great bar!
The vibe is really friendly, neighborhood bar - great beers on tap. It's actually pretty lovely too - exposed brick and hardwood floors - I can't wait until it's warm enough to properly take advantage of their garden as well.

Great neigborhood spot! Dog friendly, great music, occasional fun bar food, friendly bartenders who remember the locals & their dogs. Wonderful outdoor back brick enclosed patio.

The L.I.C. Bar is an unpretentious, 100+ year-old neighborhood establiment that brings together the old and new in the hippifing Long Island City section of Queens. The bar features an outdoor garden, full menu, the occasional musician, a Quiz Night on Thursdays and, best of all, absolutely zero attitude.
